Southwest Austin

Southwest Austin is a collection of established neighborhoods and master planned communities that have matured over time. There is a wide variety of real estate in this area ranging from smaller condominium developments, single family homes and higher end homes in the popular communities of Circle C and Legend Oaks.

Circle C, formerly known as Circle C Ranch, was one of the most ambitious master planned communities in the Austin area.  Begun in 1983, Circle C is now home to more than 4,000 homes and includes such sought after amenities as an 18-hole championship golf course, swimming pools, parks and a winding array of hike and bike trails.  Homes for sale in Circle C are consistently affordable with a wide variety of architectural styles and price ranges to satisfy all home buyers.  Homes in Circle C can be found as low as $250,000 and sometimes as high as $600,000 in the more secluded spots of Circle C.

Legend Oaks is also a popular community of homes more reasonably priced and very attractive with home prices in the $200,000 to $350,000 range and condos starting around $125,000.  Other popular areas that Austin residents enjoy are Granada Oaks, The Ridge at Lantana, Shady Hollow and the Village at Western Oaks.

Further southwest will be homes and ranches on acreage lots in the more remote parts of Southwest Austin.  These areas will be just to the west of Oak Hill, an established community located at the intersections of Highway 71 and Highway 290 and just halfway between downtown Austin and Dripping Springs.  Other popular communities found in Southwest Austin are Brodie Springs, Oak Park and Western Oaks.

The communities in and around Southwest Austin are served by the full range of shopping experiences and are home to nearby hospitals, medical clinics and business services and are part of the Austin Independent School District.
