Pflugerville

Half an hour northeast of central Austin off I-35 is Pflugerville, Texas. Part of both Travis and Williamson County, Pflugerville homes are also accessible via State Highway 130 and State Highway 45. The opening of these highways in recent years has led to an increase in commercial development in the area, most notably Stone Hill Town Center (with its Best Buy, Super Target, Home Depot, Dick's Sporting Goods, and variety of restaurants) and the Pflugerville Solar Farm, which will be one of the largest solar farms in the United States. Despite its roughly 50,000 residents and big city conveniences, the area maintains a small-town charm, from the historic downtown buildings to the city festivals. The 180 acre Lake Pflugerville, with its trails, playground, and beach, offers residents opportunities to go canoeing, swimming, or fishing. Pflugerville is just a short drive from a variety of attractions,  including Austin’s Park ‘n Pizza and the Dell Diamond (home of the Round Rock Express baseball club).
