Just up the highway from its southern neighbor of Austin, Texas lies the historic city of Georgetown. Georgetown straddles I-35 with a population of just over 50,000 and was founded in 1840. Georgetown is home to some of the most beautiful Victorian architecture in Texas and boasts more historic downtown structures per capita than any Central Texas city.

Georgetown is a community dedicated to providing a true neighborly experience for its residents with the promotion and protection of the outdoors. Popular Blue Hole Park is an aquatic respite for the locals. Blue Hole is a section of the San Gabriel River just north of downtown Georgetown and provides picnic and recreation facilities year round. The San Gabriel Park, which borders the San Gabriel River, is considered one of the most beautiful public parks in all of Texas, covering 180 acres.
Georgetown real estate is reasonably priced and very affordable while providing a variety of options for home owners from smaller, single family homes to larger homes in the newer, master planned communities in and around Georgetown. Georgetown is served by the acclaimed Georgetown Independent School District with nearly 12,000 students and 20 schools.
