Connect in Austin through this fast-paced orientation that introduces new residents and long time Austinites to the latest issues and key players in our changing and vibrant city.  This program is a must for anyone for whom networking and understanding the community in which they live and do business is critical for success.  Enrollment is limited to 24, and this program sells out every season.

Program topics include:

  • The Economic Pulse: Learn about the framework of Austin's economy and discover how it was transformed from a sleepy college town to a hotbed of innovation.  Connect with the movers and shakers shaping Austin's future economy.
  • Hot Issues and Solutions: Visit the hubs of community activity, including City Hall and Barton Springs.  Go behind the scenes with the elected and appointed officials and regional experts who make big things happen.
  • Vibrant Creative and Entrepreneurial Culture: Find out what keeps Austin weird and get an inside look at Austin's creative side.
