For the Month of May in review on residential home sales throughout the Austin area:

May 2007

New listings were down by 11.89%.

Solds increased by 2.55%.

 

As for Average Prices:

The "New Listings" average list price is up 26.31% to 337,378.

Sold average sales prices increased 7.89% to $245,616 compared to $227,646 in 2006.

That we had 8,958 active listings during the same week in 2006? Today there are 9,980 active listings! That is a 11.41% increase from 2006.
